Safari Itinerary

Day 1 – Chobe River Safari, Game Drive & Overnight Camping

Your adventure begins in the morning with arrival in Kasane, Botswana, where you meet your safari team and receive a short briefing before heading into the Chobe wilderness.

Begin with a boat safari on the Chobe River, offering a completely different perspective of the national park. Cruise past pods of hippos and basking crocodiles while watching elephants and buffalo approach the river to drink. During the dry season, it is common to see impressive numbers of animals gathering along the floodplains.

After the river safari and lunch, change from boat to open 4×4 safari vehicle and enter Chobe National Park for an afternoon game drive.

Your guide follows tracks and wildlife movements through the park, searching for elephants, buffalo, giraffes, zebras, antelopes and Chobe’s predators. Keep your camera ready—wildlife encounters can happen at any moment.

Towards sunset, continue to the camping area. Settle into your tent as the sounds of the bush replace the noise of everyday life.

Day 2 – Sunrise Game Drive & Safari Departure

Wake to the sounds of the African bush and enjoy an early morning tea or coffee before setting out on your sunrise game drive.

Early morning is one of the most rewarding periods for wildlife viewing. The temperatures are cooler, animals are more active and predators may still be moving after their night’s hunt.

Explore Chobe’s tracks, woodland and riverfront areas as your guide searches for fresh wildlife activity. This is another opportunity to photograph elephants, buffalo, giraffes, antelopes and perhaps lions, leopards or other predators.

Return for breakfast before completing your camping safari.

Depending on your onward arrangements, you will be transferred back to Kasane or connected with your transfer for Victoria Falls or Livingstone.
